What to Expect

Therapy with me is not about fixing you.
It is about getting clear on what matters and learning how to move through the hard stuff without turning against yourself. This is not a space for quick fixes or shallow advice. It is a space for slowing down, getting honest, and building something that holds.

What our work looks like

In our first few sessions, we get a sense of the terrain. What is showing up, where you feel stuck, how you respond when things get hard. I pull from evidence-based approaches like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, CBT, and narrative work, but I do not do therapy by script. We follow what is real and alive in the moment.

Some sessions feel like breakthroughs. Some feel like sorting through fog. That is part of the work.

What you do not need

You do not need perfect words. You do not need a five-point plan. You do not need to prove that your problems are “bad enough.”

You just need to show up. As you are.

The basics

I meet with clients virtually, usually once a week.
This work is best suited for people who are ready to reflect, willing to try something different, and open to doing the work between sessions.
You can ask questions. You can bring doubts. You can go slow.
